[Total global gold ETF holdings fell by 6%] Global gold ETF holdings fell by 33 tons at the end of April to 3079 tons, down 6% from the average of the past 12 months, according to the World Gold Council. Data released on May 11. Despite this, the rise in gold prices has pushed the total global ETF asset management (AUM) to US$229 billion, an increase of 3% from the previous month and the highest since April 2022.
